Close to the 405 hwy and only 10 mins from the Santa Monica beach. Price was reasonable and the setup of the room was different than most motels. The beds were very comfortable and I liked the big space we had between the tv room and beds. I can't say anything bad about the area cause we didn't walk anywhere. Only bad thing was parking but the clerk promised that when we got back later that night there would be a spot. And there was. Bathroom is small but shower is spacious. We wanted to stay a second night but they were booked up. I would defiantly stay there again and would defiantly recommend this motel. Just make sure to book for two days. Just in case.
furniture didn't match, had to wait forever for hot water, then, it would turn fire hot.
Very comfortable, very clean. Extremely polite and helpful staff. You can tell that they take pride in the running and up-keep of the motel. Also, the motel is in a safe area. I was very impressed. Over all an excellent experience. I shall be back.
No phone in the room, no hair dryer on the dryer stand.
Bed was very comfortable. Staff very helpful with internet connection issue - - one immediately came to room to assist. Flat screen tv, free wifi, working refrigerator.
Although designated a three star on your site, the Paradise Inn and Suites is not three star. This is a typical two star motel in a squared off u shape around the parking lot. There is no lobby, walls are paper thin, building exterior and interior are quite old, no screens on windows, shower drain was clogged, entire shower had a third world look to it, tiled floors are old, dirt caked in corners.
There was all fluorescent lighting and the lightng was dim and hard to get ready it, no alarm clock, the room smelled, the bathroom had no counter and the electrical outlet was loose and directly over the sink! The towels were so thin, coarse, small and such poor quality that I wouldn't even think about drying my car off with it for fear of ruining the paint job! The closet, fridge and microwave were all crappy and we had to flip a power outlet to even turn the fridge and microwave on! There was no headboard and the room was painted red! The tv was hard to figure out and took a while to get to work. The furniture didn't match and why was there a long mirror attached to the wall parallel with the bed!? It was creepy and made me feel like I was in a hotel that you would rent by the hour! I would definately not ever recommend this place to anyone!
Rooms were very out dated, not quite what we expected.
It was close to where I needed to be. Didn't have any frills but was confortable and clean. I did not like the fact that they charge for ice. For not knowing the area it was just fine. I ended up needing only one bed and it was a nice king size bed with a sitting area.
The bath towels were extra small..not large enough for a man to use, a man would have to use 2 to dry after a shower. That they charge for ice.
Excellent value and location Close to Santa Monica beach and the golf courses we visited and the Sony studios lot. Great value if you want a roomy spot with no frills.
It served our purpose as our water heater went out.
We asked for non-smoking and were given an unclean smoking room. Would not recommend especially for families with kids. Looks great on the outside.
Nothing......the red walls were just too much. Very terrible apperance and poorly decorated.
The red walls were just too much. Terrible appearance. Lights had no lightbulbs. Very old furnishings.
The location is central to nearby beaches, shopping, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and it has easy access to the expressways. The staff are friendly and courteous. They meet your requests right away.
Unfortunately, the drains in our bathroom did not drain properly. The maintenance man did address the issue immediately and cleared them. However, it left a sewerage odor that did not clear--even with their usage of disinfectant. We also used some air fresheners and opened windows! There is no option for a continental breakfast offered. The bathroom windows although installed with shadow glass really offer no privacy--they need to have blinds or curtains. Some of them face out onto a public parking facility. They also have no screens. There was no phone in our room.
Big screen tv fridge microwave and seating area. 10 minutes away from Santa Monica beach in a car.
Not enough light in the room and bathroom floods when taking a shower. But it worked for the affordable price.
